About myself!

My name is Duncan and I am the owner of MotorSportModels. I am 35 years old and I am married to Diane. We have three children, all boys, who share my passion for motorsports.
I have built MotorSportModels up from absolutely nothing to the thriving small business that it is today. Unlike many other business websites, I have created this whole site myself, with no help from anyone. When MotorSportModels was opened in December 1996, I had no computer experience whatsoever, everything on these pages is self taught, so you see, an old dog can be taught new tricks :-).
My hobbies include all motorsports, my computer, surfing the web and chatting with my friends on America On Line. I am in the process of trying to learn a little Swedish language, (trying being the operative word) Many thanks to GuideSE QQ for the Swedish language lessons and also GuideSE FF, GuideSE CU, GuideSE TA and GuideSE JO for all the help and advice you have given me in the past. While on the subject of Sweden and AOL, I would like to thank all my friends on AOL and those that frequent Sverige (the Swedish chat room), thanks for putting up with me guys, you know who you are :-))

About MotorSportModels!

MotorSportModels is a family run business, started originally as a hobby, as we too, are die cast model collectors. We therefore check every model that leaves our hands is in 100% immaculate condition, the condition that we, ourselves would expect to receive them. I will under no circumstances whatsoever, send out any model found to be in less than perfect condition and this includes the box. We are mail order only and supply models world wide. If you require an out of production model, please let me know, I pride myself on finding these older models and I travel all over the UK to suppliers, sometimes finding obsolete and rare models.
